The Bahá'í calendar, also known as the Badí' calendar, is made of 19 months of 19 days, and this app reflects that geometry using a palette of 19 colors to represent both the month and the day, generating a unique color combination for every one of the 365 days of the year.
There are also a series of counters that help visually represent the passage of time. The array of circles running across the top represent months that have elapsed and are remaining in the year. The circles arrayed in a ring around the center represent the days of the month. Finally, there is an arc that slowly extends to a complete circle representing the time until sunset.
Unlike a conventional calendar, the Bahá'í date changes at sunset, so the app updates accordingly based on your location.
